    You would think it would be easier to find competent help nowadays with the unemployment rate where its at, but towing takes a rare breed lol.

    There is a few around here that I know about, mostly all owner/ops. I have been away from the company driver scene for a year or so, so I don't really know anybody that works for those companies, they are generally a revolving door.

    hi there fellow Canadian, how are things in the city??? semi slow here right now,,still lots to go on ,,but not like last winter,,i just wait for the phone to ring and take the appropriate truck...

    It has been fairly slow here as well. We are still able to put food on our table, but all in all, its kind of scary. July is always our busiest month though, so I am looking forward to that. The economy is supposed to pick up here soon as well, at least in AB. There are a bunch of big maintenance shutdowns happening up in the oilsands, so I suspect I will be making some trips there again.
